Wow, What a find. Got a call from my friend Bob who found a tree down in a back yard up in Cumming.
This is about as large a bowl as I can turn on the lath over the bed and was an amazing piece of Maple.
Not only does it have Ambrosia (Beetle Damage) but its the first Maple with Birds Eye (speckled spots) that I have had the opportunity to turn.
