Cherry is probably one of my favorites. Its nice to look at, turn and it wraps wonderfully.

This Maple bowl was custom made for a friend of the market. Perfect for salad.

A good Neighbor (thank you Hal and Barb) took a few Leyland Cypress out of their front yard.

This was one of those rare moments when a great thing is given to you. Martin, my auto mechanic, had a very old and dying Dogwood in his yard. Thank you martin and may you enjoy your bowl!

This turning contains just a bit of Zulu in the center hollow. The wood is Ebony, Paduck and Black Palm. Shake it close to your ear and you can hear her run by.

I made one for the Wood Guy’s Wife too.

Some days efforts truly stand out from the crowd.

This maple bowl is referred to as “Angle Wings” Bowl around the house. Also the rim was a simple, smooth, multi bevelled thing.

Recently, I was able to appreciate my auto mechanic. Instead of writing him a check, he gave me a dogwood he pulled out of his back yard. Literally, pulled out, he’s a car guy, co’mon!
